Let Microsoft® Office help you manage all of your company’s holiday tasks. Here are four ideas, one for each of the most common Office Applications.

Having a holiday party? Collect workplace photographs from events over the past year and turn them into a slide show to show in a loop at the company holiday party. Do you have more than one location. Have each location take a photo (or even a short video!). Arrange these into a PowerPoint® loop. To make a presentation run on “autopilot,”
1.    From the Slide Show tab, in the Set Up group, choose Rehearse Timings. If it’s all photos try 5-10 seconds per photo and see how it flows.
2.    Then in the same group, click Set Up and choose Loop continuously until ‘Esc.’

Need holiday stationary for invitations, menus and newsletters. Check out the numerous templates available in Word to create just about any item you can think of.
1.    Choose Office Button and select New.
2.    Type holiday in the search field and press Enter.
3.    Click the Create button in the lower right hand corner of the dialog box.

Use the above procedure in Excel® and locate spreadsheets to track your gift giving budget. Also see calendars to keep careful track of events, vacation schedules and holidays to make sure critical jobs are covered during this hectic time of year.

Are you really sending holiday cards to ALL of your contacts? Consider using one of your User Fields in the Contact item to indicate whether to send a card. Then when using Mail Merge in Word, filter the recipients list by this field.
