Net­work­ing is vital for growing your busi­ness. But you may not be a natural-born networker. Follow these three simple tips from top sales expert and author Tom Searcy:

  1. Be the first to put your hand out and introduce your­self.
  2. Always ask for a business card.
  3. The next day, follow up with a quick e-mail to every person whose card you’ve col­lected and thank them for their time and the opportunity to meet them. Searcy says this has “ridiculous ROI.”
