New research by web security firm OpenDNS says U.S. employers are mostly concerned with blocking employees’ access to social media, online games and personal e-mail.
Here are the top 10 banned sites, in order, and the percentage of employers that block them: Facebook (23%), MySpace (13%), YouTube (12%), ad manager DoubleClick (6%), Twitter (4%), Hotmail.com (2%), Orkut—a Google social networking site (2%), Ad.Yieldmanager.com (2%), web-page organizer Meebo (2%), and eBay (2%).
