The top 10 ‘banned at work’ web sites

New research by web security firm OpenDNS says U.S. employers are mostly concerned with blocking employees’ access to social media, online games and personal e-mail.

Here are the top 10 banned sites, in order, and the percentage of employers that block them: Facebook (23%), MySpace (13%), YouTube (12%), ad manager DoubleClick (6%), Twitter (4%), (2%), Orkut—a Google social networking site (2%), (2%), web-page organizer Meebo (2%), and eBay (2%).
